Atmosphere tonight. That Galaga machine’s got my name tagged all over it. I hope they play some new stuff, but I wanna hear some classics, too. We’ll see. Full review later. Or tomorrow.
Back for more, huh? Songs included: Woman With the Tattooed Hands, New Song, I’m Always Coming Back Home to You, God Loves Ugly, Newbie, Shoes!; don’t remember the rest. I’ve been looking for a setlist online, apparently there aren’t any Rhymesayers Message Boards. That’s weak, because the setlist kicked ass. And surprise-surprise, I got drunk. The band downsized a bit since the last time I saw them; which suits the live mix just fine. Ant’s been integrated more fully into the band, this works too.
Mac Lethal spoke of everything from Atheism to potato chips. Pound that beer. He also stopped part of a song to do an impression of a “MySpace-Emo-Kid” photographing his/herself with their cell phone. Hilarious, considering some of those in attendance. He talked about self absorbed women, VH1, and Republicans.
Great show. Hearing Shoes made my night; I’ll never hear that song again live (according to Gallagher). And it is one of my favorites. Back Home to You fit just right. Thug love by the corner of the Walgreens… I totally forgot about Sad Clown 10, but I’ll get my dirty little hands on it sooner or later.

Oh. And I only reached Stage 8 last night on the Galaga machine, something tells me I need to at least reach 10. Next time. Lombo!
